Green Bay Boy Choir performs at the Opening Ceremonies of the Tall Ships visit to Green Bay
Thursday, July 27th, 2006The Green Bay Boy Choir, under the direction of artistic director Judy Tepe, performed at the opening ceremonies of the Tall Ships Parade of Sails on July 27, 2007 at Leicht Park along the shores of the Fox River, Green Bay. The touring choirs sang a selection of nautical folk songs and dance tunes of fishermen, sailors, and the sea. The Boy Choir performed the National Anthem during a presentation of the colors. A Welcome from Mayor Jim Schmidt and Governor Jim Doyle followed a blessing of the ships from Catholic Bishop David Zubik.
